The acquisition of Mirexus Inc, which became effective October 1, includes the four branded products PhytoSpherix™, EnerZea™, Adveen™ and Susttain™, which will be fully integrated into the portfolio and are available for purchase immediately at Mibelle Biochemistry.
Mirexus Inc.'s flagship product - a sustainable plant glycogen (phytoglycogen) called PhytoSpherix™ - is used in personal care products. The plant extract, derived from non-GMO corn, energizes skin cells, boosts collagen, reduces wrinkles and improves skin hydration.
Access to new technology with plant-derived, corn-based glycogen
The acquisition gives Mibelle Biochemistry access to a new technology that it can now develop further. The acquisition strengthens the Mibelle Biochemistry's portfolio of active ingredients and advances the company's sustainable innovation efforts by further aligning the portfolio with the growing demand for natural and sustainable ingredients.
