Raw materials made from CO2 replace fossil and plant-based materials, which protects the climate and counteracts the greenhouse effect. In addition, raw materials from CO2 do not compete with food, as no agricultural cultivation is necessary, so biodiversity is preserved and water consumption is reduced.
WWF Switzerland supports the Mibelle Group and promotes the use of raw materials from CO2 recycling for a more sustainable environment. The customer demand for sustainable products is growing steadily and this is increasingly reflected in product launches made from CO2 raw materials.

Packaging made from CO2
Currently, we can offer CO2 PET bottles that are made from up to 30% CO2. PET packaging made from CO2 reduces crude oil consumption and binds greenhouse gases, it is recyclable and can be combined with rPET. Our CO2 PET bottles have already been awarded with four packaging prizes.
