The Procurement Raw Material team faces these challenges on a daily basis. Our specialists, Daniela Gehrig, Viro Maniaci, René Liechti and Arben Berisha take care of the global procurement of our entire raw material portfolio for Personal Care and Home Care across all locations.
The following key tasks are of great importance:
- The secure supply of our raw materials portfolio must be guaranteed at all times. It is important to have the desired quality available in sufficient quantities at the right time so that we can produce according to plan.
- Through efficient supplier management, we carefully select our procurement sources based on specific requirements. We strengthen our partnerships through regular dialogue and transparent communication.
- Based on trusting cooperation with our partners, we drive forward innovative products and solutions and optimise processes and workflows together. This enables us to shorten delivery times and minimise storage costs.
- In order to avoid supply bottlenecks or even delivery failures of raw materials, we look for alternative raw materials in good time. This is a second procurement source of identical quality that can be called upon if necessary.
- We constantly monitor the supplier market and thus form an important link to our innovation team. This enables us to advise our colleagues on the latest technologies, active ingredients, packaging options, etc. at all times.
All of this is done in compliance with strict regulations (certificates and standards), as well as taking into account various sustainability aspects.
