Dr. G, a leading skincare brand under Mibelle Group’s subsidiary company Gowoonsesang, is expanding into the Thai market. This expansion marks an important milestone in our strategic efforts to grow our footprint in high-potential markets, combining the company’s expertise in global market development and innovative skincare products.

Korean beauty and skin care (K-Beauty) is considered highly competent worldwide and is always at the forefront of trends and innovations. With our Korean brand Dr.G we are even the leader in the Korean dermocosmetics market. Reason enough to expand the sales network step by step beyond Korea's borders.

Strategic Retail Partnerships

Dr. G's face care products are now available in 256 offline stores across Thailand through partnerships with key retailers, including Watsons, Boots, Multy, Konvy, Eveandboy, Beautrium, The Cosmetics, and Firster. Additionally, also present online, giving Thai consumers access to our innovative skincare solutions on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada and TikTok.

The move into the Thai market was a strategic decision, driven by the steady growth of the cosmetics industry in Thailand and the rapid increase in e-commerce and social media-driven sales. Following the online sales launch at the beginning of the year, the impressive sales network of 256 stores has now been in operation since August.

Dr.G has already established itself well in the Thai market, with the Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream and the Red Blemish Soothing Up Sun being particularly popular, as they suitable for sensitive skin in hot and humid climates. Both products have received positive feedback for their ability to soothe the skin, moisturize, and offer high UV protection without feeling sticky.

Promising growth plans

In view of the great response to the Red Blemish line, there are already plans to expand the Dr.G product range in Thailand. For example, the slow-aging line 'Black Snail', the moisturizing line 'Barrier.D' or the pore care 'PoreJet'

Kim Hyung-Joon, Manager of the Overseas Sales Team at Gowoonsesang, shared, "In preparing for the launch of Dr.G, we carefully considered the rapid growth of the Thai skincare market and the rising demand for Korean cosmetics."
