Amy Floyd took up her new role as Group Head of HR at the Mibelle Group a few months ago. She speaks about what matters to her in this new position, the role HR plays in managing large-scale transformations, and the development of people during change.

Amy, you have had a diverse career in HR across several industries. How does that experience shape your approach to HR at Mibelle Group?

My professional journey has always centred around people—helping them grow and thrive. At the Mibelle Group, there is a wonderful opportunity to ensure that every individual’s potential is nurtured, and their contributions are recognised. Whether it’s through leadership programmes, diversity initiatives, or development opportunities, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can contribute to our future success.

How will your previous experiences with mergers and acquisitions help the Mibelle Group through its current transformation?

Managing change effectively is essential, especially during transitions like this one. HR plays a crucial role in ensuring that people feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout the process. At the Mibelle Group, it is about creating a smooth transition by aligning our people with the company’s evolving direction and ensuring that our values are lived across the entire organisation. By involving employees at every stage, we foster a sense of collaboration and shared purpose, which is key to navigating change successfully.

What are your main goals for the HR function at the Mibelle Group during this transformative period?

Our focus is on growth—both for the company and our employees. We are building a global HR team that supports our strategic objectives, improving processes for efficiency, and enhancing the employee experience. One of the key initiatives is a Leadership Programme, aimed at equipping our leaders to drive business success while navigating change. Additionally, we’re committed to embedding our core values and fostering a culture that thrives on diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.

What excites you most about leading HR at this pivotal time for the Mibelle Group?

This is a moment full of potential—for the company and our people. We have the opportunity to shape the Mibelle Group’s future in a way that’s driven by our values, with empowered employees at the centre of our success."
