Prestigious awards for CO₂-PET

The Mibelle Group is producing the world's first bottles with PET made from CO₂, which would otherwise be released into the atmosphere as a greenhouse gas. CO₂ recycling strikes a chord with the times and demonstrates the Mibelle Group's ability to innovate. CO₂-PET has already won several awards.

Mibelle Group uses CO₂-PET to produce packaging for soaps, household cleaners, hand dishwashing products and dental rinses. The technology behind it is an innovation for which Mibelle Group has partnered with startup LanzaTech to create a sustainable plastic alternative for packaging. Packaging made from CO₂ recycling reduces petroleum consumption, binds greenhouse gas and can be put into existing recycling as normal. CO₂-PET thus has a significantly lower environmental footprint than conventional PET, while maintaining the same quality.
