Persán: Successful for over 80 years

The Spanish family-owned company Persán can look back on a history of over 80 years, which has its origins in the home care sector. Through international expansion and the development of their areas of activity, the Seville-based company has grown considerably in recent years. Persán has modern production sites in Spain, France and Poland. Together, the Mibelle Group and Persán will become one of the world's largest players in the private label and contract manufacturing business.

Persán's CEO, Antonio Somé, states «We are very pleased to announce this agreement with Migros that will help Persán to strengthen its international presence. The acquisition of the Mibelle Group will allow us to access new technologically advanced categories and continue to develop innovative and high-quality products for all our customers. In this new phase, we will maintain the hallmarks that have brought us this far: a commitment to people, innovation, technology and sustainability. We look forward to exploring the opportunities that this historic step will bring.»

Mibelle Group CEO, Peter Müller, adds: «We are convinced that as part of Persán we will be able to further strengthen our existing customer relationships. Our customers will benefit from additional competences and capacity. This will enable us to offer them even more innovative solutions and an even more comprehensive product range.»

A perfect match with shared ambitions and values

The acquisition of the Mibelle Group represents a historic milestone in Persán's international expansion. In 2024, the Persán’s reported a turnover of 862 million euros and counted 2,000 employees. With the Mibelle Group's employees, Persán will employ more than 3,000 people and its turnover will exceed one billion euros.

The Mibelle Group is known for its innovative character and its desire to be at the forefront of sustainability and technology. Additionally, Persán and the Mibelle Group share values that favor their integration. These are also reflected in the culture inherited from being part of a company with a century-old history, such as Migros. These attributes are in line with Persán's philosophy of moving forward through strong partnerships and the development of technology and people. The two companies also complement each other very well in terms of expertise, technology and markets.
