The revival of an underrated all-rounder

back

Almost forgotten for Rapunzel-beautiful hair: hair tonics! It's time to recall this beauty product in mind because it is an underestimated all-rounder for hair and scalp. Hair tonics have so far been more common in men's care products. However, women also benefit from this valuable care booster for beautiful hair, as its base is enriched with caring ingredients such as plant extracts (e.g. from camomile, birch bark or nettle) and essential oils.

A distinction is made between cosmetic hair tonic and medicinal hair tonic. The latter is prescribed for serious problems such as psoriasis. However, cosmetic products can also soothe the scalp and counteract problems such as itching, hair loss, oily or dry scalp and dandruff. Nettle hair tonics or products containing birch water, sage or tea tree oil can help with oily scalps. Hair tonics can also be an effective remedy for mild forms of hair loss, as their natural ingredients, such as caffeine, supply the hair roots with nutrients and promote blood circulation. This stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss. And anyone who suffers from annoying dandruff has probably mainly used anti-dandruff shampoos in the past. What many people don't realise: Hair tonic is also an effective anti-dandruff solution, as the sebum-regulating ingredients are effective against both dry dandruff (caused by a dry scalp) and oily dandruff (caused by increased sebum production in the scalp).

It is worth keeping your scalp in balance, as it is well known that a healthy scalp is the best recipe for beautiful, strong hair.
